About Amy Aubertin, MS, RDN, LDN, CEDS

Amy Aubertin

Amy Aubertin (she/her) is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Her career is rooted in her interest in helping others, a love of health and science, and an appreciation of the role of food in our lives.

Amy applies over 25 years of consulting and private practice to equip her clients with evidence-based information to help them make affirming decisions about how they uniquely nourish their bodies. She works from a non-diet approach and incorporates the principles of Health at Every Size®, intuitive and mindful eating. Amy utilizes behavioral approaches in her work with medical nutrition therapy. She works with her clients to define the objectives and steps needed to improve her clients' relationship with food, movement, and their bodies.

 

She has presented on preventing and treating eating disorders, intuitive/mindful eating, sports nutrition, and child and family nutrition at professional conferences, community groups, schools, and college campuses. Amy has held positions as an adjunct faculty professor, public health nutritionist, and at the FDA. She was a clinical supervisor and served on the Counseling and Nutrition Center 360 advisory board. Amy is a facilitator of The Body Project through the National Eating Disorder Association. Amy also consults with substance use disorder treatment programs. 

 

Amy holds a B.S. in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an M.S. in nutrition communications from Boston University. In addition to completing a graduate fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, and National Institutes of Health, she is a trained facilitator and teacher in the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), and Mindful Eating and Conscious Living (MECL).

When not in the office, Amy enjoys spending time outside hiking, gardening, and discovering local places.
